Things I love, use and recommend!

  • QuickBooks Online

I have used QuickBooks Online since 2015 and it just continues to get better and I even loved it back then! It’s a great tool for business owners and accountants and I believe in it so much, that it’s my required bookkeeping software for all my clients (but lucky for you, I have a discount to share if we work together!)

  • The Legal Paige

I wish I had found the Legal Paige before I had set up my company, but even though I didn’t. I have still used many of their resources and contract templates. Not only are there so many great & free resources, there are contract templates that are specific to your field. If you’re in a creative industry - this is a one stop shop! But if you’re just starting out, the DIY templates for setting up your business legally are incredible and narrowed by state even! Check this resource out for your legal needs as a business!

  • Gusto Payroll

This is a great company for small business payroll. While QuickBooks Online also offers good payroll services, Gusto has much more expertise at hand for those that really want to just hand over payroll to the experts. They offer everything you could want from a payroll provider and their customer service can’t be beat.

  • Squarespace Website Designer

I loved using Squarespace to design my website. Their templates are very user friendly, customizable and the designs are visually appealing on both computers & mobile devices. I’m not a programmer or designer but I was able to create my site myself (give me a little credit for that!) and loved how it turned out. So if I can, you can!

  • HubDoc

This receipt organizer is a game changer. There are 3 different ways to upload receipts. You can scan one multipage docment and have the software split it into separate receipts. It links to QuickBooks and auto reads to pull out key information. It truly is the perfect companion for keeping your books organized and audit compliant.

  • HoneyBook

This is a scheduling, invoicing, contracting sending software all rolled into one. I’ve tried a few and found this one easy to use, affordable, and versatile in it’s capabilities. Depending on what services you are offering - HoneyBook can be a great software! I use it to easily send and have clients e-sign contracts, but you might like the invoicing or appointment scheduler! They offer a trial period so worth a shot to see if it helps your needs. Because trust me - outsourcing admin work and finding efficient systems pays off quickly.

  • Chase Business Card

I have banked with Chase personally for years and love the versatility of their cards. For business - they offer a great credit card that doesn’t have an annual fee, has great rewards of 1.5% cash back and 0% APR for the first year which is huge when you are just starting out. On top of that, it has the functionality of adding an view-only user which allows your accounting team to view necessary information without giving access to your entire account. A major green flag from this bookkeeper!
